I will produce about 90 percent of the record myself, and bring in co-producers for a couple of tracks. He’s been an engineer on some cool stuff like Vampire Weekend. We’re recording with Shane Stoneback at Tree Fort. We are very close to signing with a label, probably this week, and in January we will start our record. Now I am a waitress at Diner, but hopefullyĭ.M.: Starting in January we will be recording. I am going to see their Christmas play on Tuesday. I still keep in touch with my kids, though. And so I explained what I was trying to do sonically - something about being rhythmic and kinda melodic, kinda heavy. I said I was living in New York and looking for a female vocalist. I was actually talking to her mom and we started talking about Florida, where we both grew up.
